1. Killzone 2 is not out until 2008 so you're not looking at the final product.
2. It's ok to use 'pictures' to show off these games but when in motion Killzone 2 animation wins easily - INGAME.
3. Gears of War released in late 2006 so your looking at a game that is finished, compared to a game that we won't see in final form until 2008.

I love the idea of a cover system in a First Person Shooter and Killzone 2 looks to make it work excellently.
Lets face it Halo 3 will be a blast when its finally released but you can't help but feel a little dissappointed by some stuff.
1. No 4 player split screen in Halo 3
2. Its more or less exactly like Halo 2 with 'slight' advancements so can you truly call it a next gen game?
3. Ten campaign levels? jeeeeez...
I'm still getting Halo 3 - can't wait - but even i could not deny that Killzone 2 looks a LOT better all round.
The best of E3 07 was killzone 2. But since Killzone 2 does not come out until 2008 i think they did right to give COD4 the best game of this years E3 since it does comes out this year.
I personally think Killzone 2 was the best game at E3 2007, but i have to admit Uncharted is looking awesome.
I hope the demo comes really, REALLY, soon because i can hardly wait for the game itself!
1. Look at both Killzone 2 and Halo 3's E3 2007 trailers - the winner is clear.
2. Anyone who has played the Halo 3 beta {me} knows that Halo 3 is using Halo 2's {from xbox 1} game engine and it shows - next generation gaming? hmmm... Meanwhile killzone2 uses PS3 Cell and RSX graphics chips.
3. Look at the n4g hottest game rating for Killzone2 compared to Halo 3

Killzone 2 shocked me big time at E3 07. It's just so far ahead of the competition it's hard to believe!
1. Killzone 2 - First Person Cover amazed me, and physics when someone got shot was unlike anything i have ever seen in an FPS. Animation is unrivalled. Graphics unbelievable.

The 360 fanboys just cannot handle the FACT that Killzone 2 beats any game on 360 now and in the future. That and the FACT that Sony completely dominated its rivals at E3 2007 by a long way.

Man 360 has taken a nose-dive into it an early grave looking at all the bad news for it... Anyway im getting UT3 on PS3 - can't wait!

Jack Tretton said it. Kojima said it. And some how if it ever did happen {it won't} PS3 would still get it first as we already know it will in the first quarter of 2008. The MGS fan base would all get it for PS3 as part of they're collection of the series. And lets face it, what is the point of bringing the final game of the series to 360 when all previous MGS games have been PlayStation bound?
